Poarch was originally from the Philippines. She told interviewers for the H3 Podcast the story of how she was sheltered by her grandmother in the slums of Manila until she turned three. Following her TikTok success, she launched a Twitter account and a YouTube Channel in the following month after the joining of TikTok. Poarch also became famous with the alpaca stuff doll Paca. Poarch launched a limited-edition clothing line RIPNDIP x Paca Collaborative in the year 2020.
